Hailey’s Harp and Pub in Metuchen is planning their first-ever beer dinner, to be held on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 6:30-9:30 p.m. The PubScout, Kurt Epps, will emcee the event, after having been a regular emcee at annual beer dinners at nearby Metuchen seafood restaurant Dick’s Dock. Cost is $50 per ticket, with a maximum of only 45 tickets to be sold for the event.

The menu will be as follows:
Melon with Prosciutto
Corn Beef and Cabbage Rolls
Potato Leek Soup
Mixed Greens with Citrus Salads
Beef Rib Roast with Fresh Rosemary
Kicked up Jameson Strawberries

As-of-yet to be determined specially selected beers will accompany the meals, though Hailey’s Ale and Guinness are certain to be on the list.
